Bremen, a City of many Faces
1,200 years of tradition and cosmopolitanism characterise Bremen, the Hanseatic city by the Weser. The magnificent town hall (UNESCO World Heritage Site) in the style of the Weser Renaissance and the venerable figure of Roland on the historic market square remain unmistakable. And of course there are the world-famous statues of the Bremen Town Musicians from Grimm’s fairy tales.
Bremen is the tenth largest city in Germany, a European aerospace centre, a city of science and the site of one of Europe’s largest urban development projects, the Überseestadt. The proximity to the river and green nature characterises the life of the people of Bremen. The flair of a seafaring city is still alive today and is particularly attractive to tourists.
From hotel bookings to package tours, from city tours to organising bus groups and congress planning … Wirtschaftsförderung Bremen not only tells Bremen residents and their guests how, where, when and what is taking place, but also provides them with a complete first-hand service.
